The Liberty ‘Art Nouveau’ Quintet - Electric Nouveau Cashmere and Silk Wrap

This Liberty collection, the ‘Art Nouveau’ Quintet of five intriguing cashmere and silk wraps re-imagines Liberty archive designs from two golden moments in decorative history: the flowing organic and linear forms of early Art Nouveau at the turn of the twentieth century and its spirited revival in the 1960s. Electric Nouveau draws inspiration from Liberty’s rock star clientele of the 1960s and 1970. Flamboyant and ornamental it incorporates a series of influences, including a mirrored Arts & Crafts layout, traditional damask floral motifs, and even a touch of colourful psychedelia. Crafted from a clever blend of cashmere and silk the wrap is soft, warm, light and generously sized. It drapes effortlessly and is large enough to wear as a shawl.
